Organ systems are a collection of organs working together to carry out a function.
The digestive system consists of many organs including salivary glands, the stomach, pancreas, the liver, duodenum and ileum. It's function is to break up food into small molecules and absorb small molecules into the blood and lymphatic system.
The circulatory system includes the heart, arteries, veins and capillaries. It's function is the mass transport of substances and blood cells around the body.
