Exam Style Question - 1
Question
An electric motor is connected to a 12 V supply and draws a current of 2.5 A. It lifts a 3.0 kg mass at a steady speed through a height of 1.5 m in 4.0 s. (g = 9.81 N kg−1)
(a) Calculate the electrical power input to the motor.
(b) Calculate the charge that flows through the motor in 4.0 s.
(c) Calculate the efficiency of the motor.
