BRAINCAKEATP Synthesis
ATP is synthesised by the enzyme ATP synthase in a condensation reaction.
ADP + Pi + energy → ATP + H2O
The reaction is called phosphorylation and ATP synthesis is the reverse of the hydrolysis reaction.
