The Energy of a Photon
For electromagnetic radiation the energy of a photon is the frequency multiplied by the Planck constant h.
The Planck constant is h = 6.63 × 10-34 J s.
For radiation of frequency f, energy can only be transferred in whole packets (photons) of energy hf.
