Nuclear Radius and Density
If the radius is plotted against their mass number for different nuclei it can be shown that the radius R depends on the mass number. The relationship is given by R = r0A&fract13
A graph of R agains A&frac13 gives a straight line through the origin with gradient r0 = 1.05fm.
