The Effect of Temperature and Catalysts on the Rate Constant.
The value of the rate constant depends on the orientation factor, activation energy and temperature. The rate constant is given by
k = A e -Ea/RT
Ea is the activation energy, R is the gas constant and T is the temperature in Kelvin. This is known as the Arrhenius Equation.
