Example Question - 1
In a titration 25.0 cm3 of 0.040 mol dm-3 aqueous metal hydroxide exactly neutralises a 20.0 cm3 sample of 0.100 mol dm-3 sulfuric acid.
Calculate the stoichiometric ratio and give the balanced equation.
Moles of metal hydroxide = 0.040 × 25.0 ÷ 1000 = 1.00 × 10-3 mol.
